Were you researching Jean d’Artigue, the author and ex-NWMP? If so, did you find out where he is buried and if there is a headstone? I am an ex-member of the RCMP and do a fair amount of amateur history research and also collect photographs of ex-member’s headstones.

    There is a Jean Marie d'Artigue de Laborde d'Arbrun born 2 Jan. 1879 at Grenade-sur-l'Adour, Landes, Aquitaine; dead on 14 Dec. 1914 at Montfort-en-Chalosse, Landes, Aquitaine; x 9 June 1908 with Elizabeth de Laborde d'Arbrun at Grenade-sur-l'Adour.
